How to get around a lesson, and answers to common questions.

Finding a lesson

Open the syllabus on the home page and choose Class 11 or Class 12, or use the search box to find a chapter or topic. You can also browse Class 11 chapter by chapter.

Inside a lesson

  • Use Next and Previous at the bottom, or the row of slides, to move through the lesson. Slides you have seen are marked, and finished lessons get a tick.
  • Notes shows the full transcript of a video, or tips for a simulation.
  • The list on the left (the menu on a phone) shows the other lessons in the chapter.
  • The sun and moon buttons switch the lesson between a light and a dark theme.
  • Each slide has its own address, so you can bookmark or share the exact slide you are on.

Questions

Do I need an account?

No. Everything is free and there is nothing to sign up for.

Is my progress saved?

Yes, in your browser on this device. The home page shows how far you are through each chapter and a card to continue where you left off. Progress does not move between devices or browsers, and clearing your browser’s data for this site removes it. To start again, use Reset my progress at the bottom of the home page.

Does it work on a phone?

Yes. Lessons, videos and simulations work on phones, tablets and computers in any up-to-date browser. Turning a phone sideways gives videos more room. Videos stream as you watch, so a slow connection may pause them for a moment.

A video won’t play or a simulation looks wrong

Reload the page first. If that doesn’t fix it, try another browser, and please let us know which lesson and slide, and which phone or browser you were using.

Can I use PhysEduc in my classroom?

Yes. Teachers are welcome to show lessons in class and share links with students. See the terms of use.

Why is the voice computer-generated?

It lets us fix a mistake or improve an explanation and update the video quickly. Captions and the full transcript are always available.
